An Intriguing and Enduring Obsession with Language I write this blog because I have an enormous soft spot for words and all the ways they can influence and transform our lives. The power of words is something I've known my whole life, having spent my whole career perfecting my craft of expression. Not only can they mend, motivate, and change lives, but they may also mislead and misrepresent. My goal in creating this piece is to delve into the ambivalent aspect of language. Deconstructing words, learning where they come from, and savoring the nuance of each syllable brings me great pleasure. My relationship with language is one of awe and wonder, whether it's the art of writing itself or the difficulty of putting a phrase to a concept.
